My first West Country wedding! Melissa and Rob got married in Devon, in the south west of England, in the same old stone church that Rob’s parents were married in over 40 years ago. After a beautiful wedding ceremony guests made their way through winding country lanes to an organic farm within the Dartmoor national park. The reception was full of thoughtful and stylish touches, from the antique key name cards to the super cute children’s play tents. In the main Indian-style Raj tent the party raged with Rob getting up to sing a song and the couple doing a really cool first dance, which included Melissa being led by a long ribbon around her waist. From a vintage food truck the owners of the farm served us their homemade organic blueberry ice cream and then later made sausages for a midnight snack. It was all delish! Most of the guests and wedding party were camping on the site, and they rounded off the night with a sing song and a campfire. They are such a special couple and it was such a memorable wedding, I’m so happy to have been part of it.
