We’d been obsessing over Buttermilk Falls Inn + Spa for ages. It’s one of the most stunning Hudson Valley wedding venues we’ve seen, and it’s so close that Erica and Anna have even headed there for a spa day once or twice. Amy and Jason made our dream come true when they asked us to photograph their big day. And these two were a dream come true themselves! We love a good first look and Jason had us all choked up too. Amy personally designed their incredible invitation suite (Elle was a huge fan of all those nerdy references), and we got a chance to work with one of our favorite vendors, Hops Petunia. The end of August is the perfect time for a Hudson Valley wedding; all the wildflowers in bloom, all the lush greens. It was a brilliant backdrop for romantic portraits, their ceremony by the pond, and their reception under the tent with a view of the Hudson River. We’re so grateful we go to spend the day with these two, and we can’t wait to get back to Buttermilk Falls soon!
