Riffer was top banana with a flounder and 2 schoolies,Mike n Tony both had a flounder while the rest of us only managed weevers (plenty about so be careful). Report:Fished from 10.30pm til 1.30am (low water 11.30pm) from a mark a couple of hundred yards to the right out from Victoria Rd....pumped enough lug for the session and cast out in to the breakers...southerly breeze was not ideal but there was some life in the water...40 mins in to the flood gave me a bass of 1-3-0 but that was my only action....left once the tide got in to full flood as the gullies were filling too quickly behind me. lovely day at Formby Beach.
