It is one of the leading forms of classical dance. एक सफल नृत्यकार बनने के लिए इन उपर्युक्त बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए ।, भारतीय नृत्यों में हाथ या हाथों की भंगिमा को मुद्रा कहते हैं । प्राचीन भारतीय नृत्य शास्त्र में मुद्रा को हस्ताभिनय भी कहा गया है । भारत मुनि ने हस्ताभिनय को तीन श्रेणियों में विभाजित किया है -असंयुक्त हस्त,संयुक्त हस्त और नृत्त हस्त ।, असंयुक्त हस्त -एक हाथ से जो स्तिथि बनती है उसे संयुक्त हस्त कहते है ,जैसे पताका ,अर्धचंद्र आदि ।नाट्यशास्त्र के अनुसार २४ असंयुक्त हस्त है ।, संयुक्त हस्त- दोनो हाथों के संयोग से जो स्तिथि बनती है उसे संयुक्त हस्त कहते है। नाट्यशास्त्र के अनुसार १३ प्रकार के संयुक्त हस्त है ।, नृत्त हस्त – नृत्त में प्रयोग होने वाली मुद्राएं नृत्त हस्त कही जाती है । नाट्यशास्त्र के अनुसार २७ नृत्त हस्त है । classes where fee is not double, but 1-1/2 time only. ठाट को लक्षण नृत्य भी कहते हैं|इसमें किसी प्रकार का भाव का प्रदर्शन नहीं होता बल्कि अंग, उपांग एवं प्रत्यंगों का परिचालन किया जाता है, आवर्तन(aavartan) :- किसी भी ताल की पूरी मात्राएं या संपूर्ण बोल से एक आवर्तन होती है ।अर्थात किसी भी ताल की पहली मात्रा से अंतिम मात्रा तक पूरा करके जब फिर पहली मात्रा पर आतें हैं तब एक आवर्तन पूरा होता है ।, ठेका(theka):-किसी भी ताल के निश्चित बोल को ठेका कहते हैं ।ठेके का बोल ,ताल की ताली , खाली, विभाग आदि को ध्यान में रखकर पूर्व निर्धारित एवं सर्व विदित होते हैं । ठेके का बोल उस ताल की पहचान होती है ।ठेके को टबला अथवा पखावज पर ही बजाय जाता है ।, सम(sam) :- किसी भी ताल की पहली मात्रा को सम कहते हैं ।अक्सर सम पर उस ताल की पहली ताली भी पड़ती है ।बोल चाहे किसी भी मात्रा से उठे उसकी समाप्ति सम पर ही होती है एवं सम से ही ठेका को पुनः पकड़ते हैं ।सम पर आने से ही कोई भी बोल सही माना जाता है ।अतएव किसी भी ताल का व्यवहार करते समय सम का ध्यान रखना अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है ।, ताली -खाली(taali-khaali) :- हर एक ताल के विभागों को सूचित करने के लिए ताली या खाली का प्रयोग किया जाता है । हाथ में ताल लगाते वक़्त सम के बाद जहां पर ताली देतें है उसे ताली और जहां हाथ को एक ओर हिला देतें है उसे खाली कहते हैं ।ताली खाली को भरी और फांक भी कहते है ।प्राचीन काल में इसे सशब्द क्रिया और निशब्द क्रिया भी कहा जाता था ।खाली का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।, लयकारी (laykaari):- दृत ,मध्य और विलम्बित लय के इलावा भी लय के अनेक सक्षम भेद होते हैं जिन्हे लयकारी कहते हैं ।लयकारी के रूप निम्नलिखित है । प्रचलित तालों का पूर्ण परिचय :-, १) तीनताल(teentaal) However some instruments are typically used in a Kathak performance like the tabla that harmonise well with the rhythmic foot movements of the dancer and often imitates sound of such footwork movements or vice-versa to create a brilliant jugalbandi.
