Rachel and Eric tied the knot upstate, but we got to hang out in Williamsburg and Greenpoint for their iconic Brooklyn engagement session. This shoot had more than a few of my favorite things: street art, brownstones, the East River, and one handsome pooch! And of course, the gorgeous couple! The cherry on top? Getting to take engagement photos at the Brooklyn Winery! For all the weddings I’ve photographed there, I’ve never done an engagement shoot in their wine bar. It was such a great way to spend a fall afternoon.
Engagement shoots really are one of my favorite things to photograph. I love getting to spend some time with my couples before the big day. Getting creative with poses, chatting and laughing, and just wandering around looking for cool locations to shoot is the best. Rachel and Eric’s Red Maple Vineyard Wedding is also up on the blog!
